MALACCA (or Melaka) is known as a historically rich state and is recognized as one that epitomized the spirit of a nation, forged through the crucible of a tumultuous and intricate history. The city provides an excellent environment for students to live, work and study.
Malacca's diverse cultural and multi-racial populace of Malays, Chinese, Chittys, Nyonyas and Babas and Portuguese community gives the City its unique identity. A wealth of activities exists that offers students the opportunity to explore this historical city with a melting pot of various cultures and races.
Malacca has excellent transport links: it is close to the North-South Highway, providing access to the Malaysia's extensive motorway network and there is a domestic airport at Malacca. Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) can be reached in less than two hours by train or coach.
